Tipperary's Conor Sweeney leads the way
Tipperary's Conor Sweeney has surged 12-points clear of his nearest rival in the Allianz football league scoring charts.
Sweeney knocked in 2-7 as his side clinched promotion from Division 4 with a big win over Leitrim and his tally of 5-36 sees him well ahead of Derry's Mark Lynch, who has 2-33 to his name.
Lynch leads the way in Division 1, with Down's Donal O'Hare the top scorer in Division 2. Sean McCormack (Longford) heads the Division 3 scoring chart, with Sweeney the top man in Division 4.
In the goal scoring charts Carlow's Seamus Kinsella's double against Clare on Sunday sees him with six goals to his name. Wicklow's Leighton Glynn, Tipperary's Barry Grogan and Conor Sweeney, together with Kerry's James O'Dononghue all have five goals.
The highest individual score in a game was recorded by Antrim's Brian Neeson (2-8 v Tipperary).
