Offaly Senior Football Championship County Final

Massive congratulations to Rhode Senior Footballers and Management team on winning their 27th County Title yesterday after beating Ferbane on a score line of 1-14 to 9pts. 
Rhode hit the ground running from start to finish and it was that work ethic that Brought the Dowling Cup back to the Village.

The Great supporters of Rhode could be heard in the Middle of Tullamore when joint captains Brian Darby and Conor McNamee lifted the Dowling. It was a very special day for the great Alan Super McNamee collected his 9th county title with his brother Niall McNamee winning the man of the match award. 

Monday morning was twice as special as Rhode Players , management and Club officials visited all schools and play school with the Dowling Cup.  A big thank you to schools for a wonderful welcome we got . The kids were giving a little treat and no home work to celebrate the wonderful occasion.

Massive congratulations to Clodiagh Gaels on winning the Junior and Intermediate Hurling Championships in recent weeks.

A big thank you to Killeigh GAA  for the use of their facilities over the past number of months. It was very much appreciated by the team management and players. 



 

There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 10th of October for a Jackpot of €15,000.  The numbers drawn were 2 9 22 27.  The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to Doyle for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation.  The following matched three numbers and received €70 each

The Rhode GAA Lotto is the main source of income the club has and now you can play online though our website.  The good news is when you play the lotto online you are entitled to free draws, for example pay for seven draws receive the eighth one free, pay for fourteen draws receive two free and so on.  In other words, the more you play the more free draws you are entitled to!!
