Niall McNamee will make his first competitive start of the 2016 season when Offaly host Longford at O'Connor Park, Tullamore this afternoon (throw-in 2pm).

The Rhode forward did not feature in any of the Faithful County's three O'Byrne Cup games against Louth, DIT and Kildare with manager Pat Flanagan using the competiton to experiment with his team.

Goalkeeper Alan Mulhall will lead Flanagan's charges this year.
