Massive congratulations to the St. Vincents u-21 footballers who captured their second successive county title on St. Patrick's Day. The future of football in the parish is definitely bright.

 

Daingean's second team took on Raheen in a challenge match Geashill on Saturday evening last. Playing with a very experimental side, Daingean gave a good account of themselves and will learn a lot from this game. And despite David Walsh continuing his goalscoring run of late with another brace, it was a more experienced & stronger Raheen side who ran out convincing winners in the end.

Final score: Raheen 3-13 Daingean 2-4
