K/K sweating on Slevin

A thumb injury is threatening Kilcormac/Killoughey sharpshooter Ciaran Slevin's participation in Sunday's Leinster club SHC final against Ballyhale Shamrocks.

Slevin has consistently been the Offaly champions' top scorer in recent years and posted 0-9 in their hard-earned semi-final victory over Raharney a fortnight ago. A decision on his fitness will be left until just before the decider at O'Moore Park.

K/K, who are seeking their second provincial title in three seasons, have no other injuries to report. Rising star Cillian Kiely came through last Sunday's Offaly MHC final against Seir Kieran - which was abandoned at half-time due to poor visibility caused by fog - without any problems.
