Rhode bid for final spot

November 21, 2014

Rhode are just 60 minutes away from reaching the Leinster club SFC final as they prepare to face Kildare champions Moorefield in Sunday's semi-final.

In the last round, Rhode put in an impressive performance to see off the challenge of Meath's Navan O'Mahonys to advance to this stage of the championship.

The form of Rhode gives great confidence that they can reach the provincial final, but they will need to be at their best against a formidable Moorefield side.

They defeated Sarsfields after a replay in the Kildare final, then had to dig deep to see off a determined Rathnew outfit in the Leinster quarterfinal.

Moorefield have been bolstered by the inclusion of the O'Connor brothers (Cian and Eanna), sons of former Kerry manager Jack and Rhode will have to produce another excellent performance if they are to progress to the final.
