The senior team have qualified for the semi-final stage of the championship after a hard earned win over Killeevan at a rain soaked Scotstown last Sunday. After a keenly contested first half with very little to separate the sides a Jason Finnegan goal in first minute of the second half proved to be the key score in the game. Great credit to both teams for a highly competitive and compelling contest in very difficult conditions.

Gerry's Ballybay Minor Football Championship

Emerald Sarsfields play Castleblayney on Saturday August 1st at 7pm in Aughnamullen in the division 3 championship semi-final. Good luck to the team and management.

Platinum Tanks RFL 2B

We played Corduff on Wednesday July 29th at 7.30 in Corduff in the semi-final of reserve league 2B.

Castleblayney Agricultural Show

Best wishes to Castleblayney show society who will hold their annual show on bank holiday Monday beside the  Blackhill GAA grounds. The show has gone from strength to strength since relocating to its new home and fingers crossed Gerry Fleming will have good news on the weather front.
