Monaghan minor manager Garrett Coyle admits that they have to be ready for any challenge that Cavan will pose in their Ulster championship clash on Sunday.

The sides meet at Kingspan Breffni Park and due to the unpredictable nature of underage football; Coyle admitted to the Northern Standard that they will have to deal with Cavan's game plan.

"Cavan will come with a game plan and we know that we'll have to be fully tuned it and fit and able to give our best to get the better of them," said Coyle.

"We've left no stone unturned in our preparations and hope to be able to cater for all eventualities, apart from the weather and the referee of course.

"They are very strong all around the field. The St Pat's lads who have a McRory Cup medal under their belts will probably for the core of their team so there's a lot of quality there."
