Scotstown club notes

Universal Graphic Junior Championship: Our C team has advanced to the semifinal stages of the Championship after winning to Aghabog last week. Ruairi Sheehan had level matters at 1pt apiece on 5mins. Aghabog instantly replied with a goal, by the 13th minute the sides were level through frees from Ruairi Sheehan & Michael McCarville and a Shane Rice point from play, however, points were exchanged as the first half progress and by the 20th minute Aghabog had a slender lead of 5pts to 1-3 but a strong finish to the half allowed our C team carry a 9pts to 1-3 lead going into the interval with efforts from Ruairi, Myles Treanor, Micheal McCarville and a Cian Mohan 45m free. At the start of the 2nd half Scotstown continued to progress with a Michael McCarville free, followed by a Conor Caulfield goal to increase the lead by 1-10 to 1-3.
