Leinster U17: Royals take on Dublin

Meath take on Dublin in the opening round of the Leinster Special Under 17 Football Championship.

Manager Ronan Kearns will be able to call of the services of Liam Byrne, Sean Bannon, Conal Courtney, Patrick Matthews, Shane Walsh and Jordan Morris who were part of this years minor squad that lost out to Laois in the Leinster championship.

Both counties showed good form in last years Gerry Reilly Under 16 football tournament. Meath were winners of the Plate title while Dublin were narrowly defeated by Cavan in the Cup decider.
