Na Fianna 5-09 St Peter's, Dunboyne 2-11

Dean Barrett was in devastating form, hitting 4-03 as Na Fianna collected a hard earned win over St Peter's Dunboyne in Trim on Saturday evening.

The Dunboyne side gave a battling display throughout, but it was Barrett's goals, three in the second half that sealed the win.

Na Fianna led by 2-05 to 0-9 at half time with Barrett and Cian Slattery netting. Barrett also hit two points with Damien Downey and Jack McNally also among the scorers.

Na Fianna struggled in the second half as a plucky Dunboyne side would not lie down, with Barrett's goals killing off their resistance and earning Na Fianna a a second win from as many outings.
