JFC B: Na Fianna make a winning return

Na Fianna secured a comprehensive win over Donaghmore Ashbourne on Sunday afternoon in Moynalvey in their return to the Junior B Championship after a ten year absence. 

After a sluggish start, Na Fianna soon found their rhythm with Jack McNally and Andy Glynn in fine point scoring form in the first half. Na Fianna led by 0-13 to 0-5 at half time.

Na Fianna pressed home their advantage on the resumption with early points on the board, and midway through the half Andy Glynn netted to all but seal the win. Substitutes Glen McDonnell and Nicky Foster also chipped in with points on their introduction as Na Fianna secured a winning return.

Na Fianna had good performances from Pauric Hogan in goals, Sean Rafferty, Owen McDonnell, Michael Collins, Jack McNally, Cian Slattery and Andy Glynn.
