Team news: The winners will play Kilkenny in the semi final

A goal for Meath's Nicky Potterton in the Leinster MHC clash with Westmeath in Ashbourne.

Meath have named their squad to take on Offaly in the quarter final of the Leinster Special hurling league.

It will be a busy week for Mark Hatton, Daithi McGowan, Sean Johnson, Vincent Ward and Nicky Potterton. The talented five are also part of the Meath minor squad that take on Laois next Saturday in the Leinster MHC quarter final in O'Moore Park Portlaoise.

The Under 17 squad are managed by Paul McCann (Ratoath), Niall Flynn (Killmessan), Pauraic Burke (Killmessan), Mark Munnelly (Killmessan) and Pat Dinan (Trim).

Meath received a walk over from Wicklow in their opening round. The winners will play Kilkenny in the semi final.
