Scenic Sliabh na Caillaigh
A sponsored walk in aid of Oldcastle GFC and Oldcastle Ladies GFC takes place on the May Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday April 30th @1pm.
The route spreads across 7k, a round-trip to the highly renowned and popular tourist attraction, Loughcrew Cairns (Sliabh na Caillaigh).
The starting point and registration is at Galligan's Garage, Boolies, Oldcastle where runners and walkers will trek across country roads and country terrain through grassland and take in breathtaking views from hillsides all the way to the Cairns monument and then make their way back to the finish at Boolies.
Competitive or just for pleasure, a great excuse for all to get active!
Prizes for First Male/Female Home and other spot prizes on the day.
No dogs allowed on the route as it goes through farmland
