Moynalty 2-13, Ballinlough 3-10

Moynalty played Ballinlough in Junior D Championship in Drumbaragh on Friday night 27th.

Ballinlough were first to register a score with two early points, Moynalty replied with three points two from Stephen Blackburn and one from Cathal Reilly. Ballinlough stretched into a point lead with two points. Cathal Reilly leveled scores with a well taken point, following a further Ballinlough point. Moynalty got a penalty where Stephen Blackburn raised the green flag. Moynalty scored a further two points one from Stephen and one from Cathal. Ballinlough added 1-03 before half time to leave Moynalty 1-06, Ballinlough 1-07 at the interval.

Two early points in the second half by Stephen as Ballinlough got a golden patch scoring 2-02, before Jamie Maloney added a point for Moynalty scores at this time Moynalty 1-09, Ballinllough 3-09. Cormac Kearney scored the next point for Moynalty cancelled out by one for Ballinlough with the game looking over for Moynalty at this stage, they staged a big come back scoring two ponts one from Stephen Blackburn and one from Paddy Sheridan and followed with a last minute penalty by Stephen Blackburn where he found the onion bag and leveled scores. Final Score Moynalty 2-13, Ballinlough 3-10.
