Delight for Dee Rangers for the second year running

There were three titles up for grabs at he Meath ladies championship finals day at Paddy O'Brien Park. In the end two were decided while one will have to wait for another day.

Dunboyne made home with the Junior title. The winners led 3-7 to 0-4 at the break and withstood a lot of Clann Na nGael pressure in the second half to run out winners by 12 points.

The Intermediate decider was a much closer affair. Dee Rangers and St Michaels were level at the break but last years Junior winners prevailed in a tense second half to bring home their second Meath championship cup in as many years.

Oldcastle and St Ultans will have to meet again. For long periods in the senior decider it looked like Ultans had done enough. Oldcastle stormed back in to the game in the 10 minutes of injury time to force a replay.
