Na Fianna keeper Shane Geraghty watches as Mickey Brennan's (Simonstown) penalty goes wide in Pairc Tailteann

We started with eighteen teams and now nine are left in the race for the hoganstand.com Meath SFC title. Here is our team of the week from the final round of football championship action.

1 Shane Geraghty (Na Fianna)
Still one of the best in the county. Produced three outstanding saves to keep Simonstown out and they proved vital as Na Fianna booked their place in the quarter finals.

2 Johnny Baldwin (Na Fianna)
Probably the best dual of the weekend. Despite giving away a great deal in height the tigerish corner back never gave Simonstown danger man Sean Tobin an inch in their dramatic win at Pairc Tailteann.

3 Caolan Young (Summerhill)
Many of the Dunboyne attacks ended with a high ball into full forward Gerry Gallagher but Young had no problem dealing with any type of ball that came in to the square.

4 Padraig Jenning (Summerhill)
Always willing to put his neck on the line for the 'Hill cause. Time and again snuffed out Dunboyne attacks on what was a very difficult day for defenders at Dunsany.

5 Shane Downes (Trim)
Gave a man of the match performance with his non-stop support work and scored a crucial point as Trim recorded that win over Ballivor to qualify for the quarter finals of the IFC.

6 Barry Tormey (Gaeil Colmcille)
One of the driving forces behind the Kells run this year. Solid and composed at the centre of defence and got in on the scoring act in their win over Walterstown as Lar Wall's charges marched to the SFC quarter finals.

7 Gary O'Brien (Navan O'Mahonys)
The usual steady performace from the former county player. Solid in defence and great at going forward as O'Mahonys got back on track with a win over Skryne and qualify for the quarter-finals.

8 Bryan Menton (Donaghmore Ashbourne)
In top form for the Moores in their comfortable win over struggling St Pats. The county man hit a goal and three at Duleek.

9 Mickey Newman (Kilmainham)
The county man kicked eight points, 6 from play, as Kilmainham cemented their place in the intermediate quarter finals with 14 points to spare over Cortown.

10 Trevor Dowd (Dunshaughlin)
The veteran forward who is playing the football of his life hit 1-2 as Dunshaughlin defeated Blackhall and set up a SFC preliminary quarter final meeting with Skryne

11 Daniel Queeney (Na Fianna)
One of the best left foots in the business. Hit some delightful points against Simonstown along with that fantastic winner to send the 2013 finalists in to the quarter final

12 Jamie Owens (Nobber)
Turning out to be one of the players of the year in the intermediate grade. Sent over four great points and had a hand in both his team's goals in their win over Clann Na nGael at Moynalty.

13 Conor Rooney (Ratoath)
The corner forward notched 2-3 as Ratoath ran out 11-point winners in what was a workman like performance in overcoming St Ultans at Kilmessan.

14 Paddy O'Rourke (Skryne)
Gave the O'Mahonys defence a torrid time. Tested the holders defence, particularly in the first half when he scored six points. The county keeper ended with 0-7 in that 2-10 to 0-10 defeat at Simonstown

15 Tommy Smith (Castletown)
Scored both goals along with three points as Donal Curtis' charges defeated Dunderry by nine points and set up a preliminary quarter final meeting with neighbours Syddan
