Nobber faced a very stern test in this match at Drumbaragh on Saturday evening and were lucky to come away with a share of the spoils.

Drumbaragh were much the better side in the opening 25 minutes and controlled the game scoring 8 points between the 3rd and 24th minute.

In this period Nobber just managed two scores from Andrew O Brien and Brian Farrell in the 12th and 14th minutes but came to live in the last minutes of the half with Brian Farrell scoring four valuable points to keep them in touch at the break.

On the restart the home side goaled in the 32nd minute to put 5 between them but again Brian Farrell and a brace from Colin Clarke they managed to keep the pressure on as the home side responded in the 38th and 41st minutes.

A 47th penalty for Nobber which Brian Farrell expertly dispatched to the Drumbaragh net ensured for a lively finish.

The home side struck again in the 50th minute to leave them 2 ahead.But again following intense pressure Nobber sub Sam Ongumbe struck for a well taken goal to see them lead for the first time in the match.

Both sides squandered chances in the remaining minutes but the home side came good in the 59th minute to snatch a well deserved draw.
