June 23, 2015

A much needed rest.

Meath Feile Division 1 winners, Ratoath will head off to the National Finals this weekend with high hopes of success.

Wexford will play a major role in South Leinster along with Carlow and Wicklow hosting the 2015 National Féile Peil na nÓg. It is expected that over 250 U-14 Football teams boys and girls, over 6,500 players altogether will take to the playing fields of the Sunny South East in the last weekend in June 2015, which will make it the largest Feile Peil organized since the inception of the competition with teams also coming as far as Scotland, England and America.

The Meath champions are in Division 2 Group B along with Patrick Sarsfields, Starlights, and Clonmore. Their first game will take place against Sarsfield on Friday June 26th at 6.00pm in the Starlights GAA grounds.

To raise funds for the trip the club held a Tractor Pull across the pitch at Sean Eiffe Park along with a BBQ.
