Kildalkey and Boardsmill squared up to each other on Sunday afternoon in the quarter final of the Davis Cup in blustery conditions at Trim.

Kildalkey kept the pressure on Boardsmill in the second half and with another goal from Podger Geoeghan wrapped up a place in the semi final . Both teams fielded without some of they're regulars because of county work commitments and injurys but Kildalkey had that bit more strength in debt to seal the win and go forward to the next round best for Kildalkey were Mark Healy Martin Doran Podger Geoeghan and Patrick Potterton.
