On a cold blustery Sunday afternoon at Grangegoddon new pitch, Gaeil Colmcille overcame Cortown in the Div 2A League  match.

Cortown playing with the wind in the first half had Glen Loughran their lone scorer tapping over three good points.

Gaeil Colmcille answered back with Dillon Roche and Keith Reilly getting a point a piece and Brian Hanlon adding three more points before the break.

On the restart both clubs made a couple of replacements which upped the pace of the game with Loughran and Darragh O'Halloran playing well.

Glen  Loughran got two more points for Cortown.  But the  Cortown back forced to foul the nifty Gaeil Colmcille foward and Brian Hanlon again on target looping over four more points, and Stephen McManus getting the best point of the afternoon from 60 meters out.
