Kilmainham made the long journey to Ratoath on Thursday night and came away with their second win in the competition.
Kilmainham started well and a goal and 2 points from full forward Peter Smith kept them in touch with a very fit youthful Ratoath side.

With excellent defending in the second half from Stephen Newman, Denis Newman and Matthew Mullen and two more goals from full forward Smith and fine pointed efforts from Johnny Quinlan and Conor Kilgallen ensured the win for Kilmainham.
