The Leinster club MFC semi-final will be a North East affair.
Newtown Blues from Louth will provide the opposition to Dunboyne, they comfortably beat the Geraldines 4-15 to 1-5 in the Louth County final and accounted for Tinryland from Carlow in the LQF. Dunboyne beat Northern Gaels from Longford 3-08 to 0-07 in their QF last weekend.
Previous winners of this tournament include 2003 Kilmacud Crokes, 2004 St Joseph's Wicklow, 2005 Heath Laois, 2006 Cuala, 2007 St Brigids, 2008 Donaghmore Ashbourne, 2009 Na Fianna Dublin, 2010 Athy, 2011 Celbridge, 2012 Round Towers Kildare, 2013 Shamrocks Offaly.
The winners of next Sundays semi-final will play Ferbane/Belmont from Offaly in the final the following week in Carlow. Ferbane/Belmont beat Sarsfield from Kildare in their semi final.
It should be a great game in Dunboyne next Sunday (7 December) at 2.00pm with plenty of top quality underage talent from both counties on display.
