U21 HC: Kiltale advance to the semi final

Good weekend for Jack Regan. A win in the Under 21 HC and voted Meath Senior Hurler of the Year.

Kiltale advanced to the Under 21 hurling championship semi final with this comfortable win over Kildalkey.

Kiltale 1-20 Kildalkey 1-7

Kiltale with an array of senior players did all the work in the first half and ran up a total of 1-17 to 0-4  before the half time whistle.
 
Kiltale had a strong rearguard with Iarla Hughes and James Kelly on the fullback line and Anthony Forde and Shane Lenihan along the half back line the forwards were guaranteed an abundance of possession and they wasted very little taking some magnificent scores.
 
The forward division all contributed scores with  Ronan Ryan 0-1 his twin brother Ross 1-2 and the McCabe brothers Cathal 0-3 and Ferghal 0-1 along with Kevin Ryan 0-3 and Jack Regan 0-6. The remaining scores came from Anthony Forde 0-1 and Shane Lenihan 0-2 both from attacks from the half back line.
 
Chris Reilly and Daren Brennan worked hard at midfield and Reilly hit a great point before retiring with a bad hand injury. Kildalkey battled all the way to the end with some great scorers from Conor Kearney.
