Joe Sheridan to be Royal minor selector

October 07, 2014

Joe Sheridan managed Seneschalstown ladies to the Meath SFC title.

After recently finishing his playing career with Meath, Joe Sheridan will take on a new role, as a selector with the county minor football team, in 2015.

Sheridan, scorer of that infamous Leinster final winning goal in 2010, left the county panel 18-months ago.

He managed Seneschalstown ladies to a county title win this year and they have qualified for a Leinster club semi-final.

Denis O'Shea of Moynalvey was ratified as manager at the October County Committee meeting with Ian Kearney and TP Toolan the other selectors.

Sean Barry of the Simonstown Gaels was given the green light for a third term as manager of the under-21 team with Cormac Sullivan (St Patrick's) and Tom Hanley (Clann na nGael) continuing as selectors.
