Meath well represented on Ladies Day

September 26, 2014

Meath's Sarah Stanley and Colm McManus

This Sunday represents the biggest day of the year for Ladies football. Croke Park plays host to the Junior, Intermediate and Senior finals. While the Meath teams will be disappointed not to have made an impact in this years championship, the Royals have plenty of representation on final day.

Sarah Stanley will run the line during the Intermediate final between Fermanagh and Wexford. Popular referee Colm McManus is the stand by referee for the Junior decider between New York and Wexford.

In that Junior final New York are captained by former Skryne and Meath footballer Alisha Jordan and she is joined on the American team by two Donaghmore Ashbourne players, Aoife O'Rourke and Jen Moran. The visitors are coached by another Meath man Paddy Curtis.
