Upcoming coaching courses

By 2016 all Club Management teams must contain an Award One coach.
Please take note of our upcoming coaching courses, in particular the Foundation Course on 1st October, and pass this information to relevant people in your club.
*A new directive from Croke Park states that by 2016 all Club Management teams must contain an Award One coach. This person would ideally be the Head Coach.
By the start of 2018, all the Club Head Coaches will be Award 1 qualified.
These are our Award One Coaching Courses - for anyone that has completed the Foundation Award this is the next step on the coaching ladder.

The course covers a number of key modules including:
Technical Proficiency
Tactical Prowess
Team Play
Physical Fitness
Playing Facts
Psychological Focus
Communication
These courses cost €80 per person and all sessions have to be attended to receive certification.
There will also be an Award One Child course in early 2015.

We are running two Foundation courses for football pre-Christmas.

Course costs €10 per person and both days must be completed along with Child Protection Course to receive certification. Participants must be aged 18+ as instructed by Coaching Ireland.

All mentors involved with underage teams must now have their Code of Best Practice:Child Protection Course completed. We are running courses in the following venues before the end of the year:

Courses starts at 7pm and costs €10 per person.
