Skryne's Felim O'Rourke with Phelim Dowling Curraha during the B League Division 5 final at Pairc Taileann.

There were two reserve league finals down for decision tonight in Pairc Tailteann.

Skryne emerged victorious in the opening game, the B League Division 5 decider. A hat trick of goals from Felim O'Rourke along with some fine points from midfielder Alan Carty gave the Tara men a 3-12 to 2-8 win. Veterans John Quinn and Brian Smyth were also to the fore for the winners. Curraha to their credit kept going till the end and were rewarded with two late goals from Niall Moriarty and David Coyle. Skryne led 1-3 to 0-3 at the break.

The second game of the night saw St Michaels defeat Oldcastle. The winners led at the break 2-6 to 0-5. Oran Meehan got both first half goals. Oldcastle staged a mini revival early in the second half with points from Patrick Kevin, Ronan Maguire, Brian Griffin and Evan Feeney but a goal from Eddie Carolan on the 20th minute put the game back in St. Michaels favour. John Lester got a late consolation goal for the north Meath club.  Final score St Michaels 3-12 Oldcastle 1-10.
