Reigning champions Summerhill set up a preliminary quarter final with Seneschalstown after their comfortable win over Moynalvey at Dunsany. Donaghmore Ashbourne topped Group C with maximum points after a three point win over St Patricks. Last years beaten finalists Na Fianna made it through with one point to spare over Rathkenny. Rathkenny now face in to the dreaded relegation play offs after finishing bottom of the group,

In Group A of the Intermediate Dunderry finished on maximum points to top the group. Castletown took second spot while Ballinabrackey finished 3rd with their win over Longwood. Kilmainham head for the relegation play offs.

Dunboyne caused a stir in the Junior A championship with a comprehensive win over one of the favourites Curraha while Clonard advanced with a one point win over Meath Hill.

Clann Na nGael claimed the first championship silverware of the year by beating Ballinlough in the Junior D decider at Pairc Tailteann.
