Mayo's Aidan O'Shea tackled by Padraig Reidy and Eoin Brosnan of Kerry during the Allianz FL Division 1 game at McHale Park - INPHO
Mayo forward Aidan O'Shea will miss his side's final game of the Allianz National League against Monaghan at the weekend.

O'Shea picked up a hand injury during the win over Cork at McHale Park last weekend.

The Breaffy youngster will not know the full extent of the injury but the Irish Examiner reports that his hand has been placed in a cast as a precautionary measure.

The same report goes on to say that O'Shea, who captained the Mayo U21 side in their stilted Connacht campaign this year, is expected to return to training next week, leaving him with plenty of time to get over the injury ahead of the provincial championship opener against London on 29 May.
