St Fechins GAA club notes

May 23, 2016

Well done to our Ladies Football and Senior Football teams who both recorded fantastic results for St Fechins in the last 24 hours. The Ladies team continued their unbeaten run in the Division 2 League beating Naomh Mairtin/Glen Emmets by 7 points. With only one game left it looks like our ladies will be playing in Division 1 next year! The Senior Footballers went to Lordship to take on St Pats in the Division 1 League and after a brilliant, hard-working performance won by 2-8 to 0-12. This result brings them up to 6th in the league with four rounds to go!

St Fechins are collecting tokens from the Drogheda Independent to win a sports kit worth 600 euro for a juvenile team. We need to collect 650 tokens over a 5 week period beginning on 18th May. Could we ask all families to help with this campaign by purchasing the paper and sending the tokens with your child to training, to be handed to the coach. Tokens can also be given to Emma @ the Club Shop. All support for this is gratefully appreciated!

St Fechins are also taking part in Topaz Cash for Clubs. To support the club simply scan your Play or Park game tag when you make a fuel purchase at any participating Topaz station.
