There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 20th May.  The winning numbers were 1, 6, 23, 27. There was 1 match 3 winner Mary Callaghan, Mountdoyle, - who won €150.  Next weeks draw takes place on Wednesday 27th May and the jackpot stays at €10,000, with the reserve jackpot rising to  €2,200.   Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member.  Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciated.

U12 V St Kevins Fri 16th Ballygassan Team: Stephen O Reilly (1:0),Ryan Mc Gee, Patrick Osbourne ,Alex Crosbie, Cormac Osbourne ,Conor Dunne, Conor Boyle ,Siobhan Markey(0:1) ,Adele Darby(1.1), Sophie Turley ,Eamon Callan, Evan Reade, Colm Smith (1:0) , Stephen Doyle(2:0) ,Michael Casey ,Liam Markey.  Finbarrs U12 s were up against St Kevins on Fri night last . Weather and ground conditions were perfect . We fielded 12 with 4 subs at the ready. The Kevins proved to be a strong side with a strong back line and midfield , however we were able to break through scoring 5 goals and 2 points .But at the final whistle, these great scores were not enough to beat the Kevins. A wonderful performance by both teams.

Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire -v- Cuchullann Gaels  U-16 League - Monday 18th May 2015 - in John Markey Park, Loss for Finbarrs/Lannleire 2-3 to 3-5.  Big improvement on last weeks performance for this highly entertaining game played on Monday night. We dominated for long periods of the game, particularly in the second half, but couldn't make that count on the scoreboard. Huge credit to the lads for their effort and teamwork and desire to improve.  Team:  Adam Power, Cian Clinton, Padraig Kieran, Ciaran Boyle, C.J. Corentin, Tunjai, Dillon Dunne, Adam Hanratty (0-1), Ciaran Dunne, Killian Gregory, Niall Woods, Josh Crosbie (1-1), Jack Kearney, Kian Callan (0-1), Darren Clinton (1-0).

Naomh Fionnbarra Intermediate team had an excellent win over St. Josephs in Division 2 League at Cluskey Park, Dromiskin on Friday evening last. Half time score Naomh Fionnbarra 2-5(11) St. Josephs 1-5(8) Final score: Naomh Fionnbarra 2-11(17) St. Josephs 1-12(15).  This win leaves the team in a good position in the Division with 5 games to go.  Keep up the good work lads!

Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club hosted Mr & Mrs in the Glyde Inn on Friday last.  Congrats & well done to our winning Mr&Mrs couple Miliosa & Gordon Woods.  Also a big thank you to all our couples for taking part in what was a great night. Thank you to all who came out and showed their support, a great night was had by all.

Well done to the Louth Junior Football team and our own Conor Lenihan and William Woods who beat Cavan in the Leinster Junior Football Championship on Wednesday evening last.
