Parnells heading to Dundalk

This weekend sees our U13 boys head off on their annual trip to Ireland. This year they are heading to Dundalk, Co. Louth and to the home club of Colin Corrigan, Geraldines GFC. With an early start from Luton on Saturday morning the boys will take part in a 4 team tournament in the afternoon against Geraldines, Dundalk Gaels and Clan na Gael (Lurgan, Co. Armagh). On Sunday morning they will have a training session with former Monaghan player and manager and former Louth manager, Eamonn McEneaney before the club hosts a community Fun Day with plenty of games for all. On Monday they will take in a Stadium and Museum tour of Croke Park before flying back in the afternoon. We wish them all the best for the weekend and are sure that they will showcase London football in a very positive light and give a great account of themselves. Best of Luck!

Under 12 League Blitz May 17.

Parnells U12 were due to play both Thomas McCurtains and St. Anthonys at Northwick Park on Sunday morning. Due to the late withdrawal of St Anthonys, we fielded 2 teams, each playing TMC and then a Parnells v Parnells match. Both games against TMC were competitive with Parnells running out comfortable winners in both. However TMC did not make it easy for us and we would like to compliment them on their willingness to compete and the skills they displayed. They had some very young U12s and if they can stay together there is definitely the making of a good team. The Parnells v Parnells match was an extremely competitive affair, with no quarter given on either side. Both sides movement and play selection were of a very high standard and all those on the sideline were treated to a really good game of football. Well done to all of the boys who played on Sunday, and thank you to all of the parents who came and watched, and also helped with the setting up and taking down of the goals etc. Finally, thanks to all at TMC for travelling across and we hope the 2 boys who picked up injuries, are not too serious, are back playing football soon
