As you are aware we have been frantically fundraising for the Climb4Clare Appeal to raise the funds to train facilitators to run the Climb Programme in Cancer Care Centres around the country and also to fund the resources required to ensure that there are no barriers for any centre that would prevent them from ensuring this programme is available to all our members. We are delighted to announce that the training of the facilitators will take place in January with the first programmes being rolled out in Spring. The following affiliated organisations have expressed initial interest in CLIMB and will benefit from all the funding raised:

Our Connacht areas are:

Hand in Hand - Oranmore, Co Galway

Mayo Cancer Support Association Castlebar

Tuam Cancer Care Centre - already trained but keen to ensure sustainability

Cavan Cancer Care covering Connacht

Sunday 7th December @12.00noon @ Connacht GAA Centre we will do our little bit followed by Mass @ 1.00pm and a cuppa afterwards.

RTE will be present to do a piece for the IWitness programme.
