The Central Hearings Committee's refusal to rescind his red card has been described as "very disappointing" by Limerick's Seanie Tobin.
The Treaty player appeared before members of the Hearings Committee last night to plead his innocence following his sending-off in last Sunday's one point victory over Clare.
But, after considering all the facts, the Hearings Committee upheld referee Colm Lyons' decision to send him off which means he will miss the Munster SHC semi-final clash against Tipperary.
Understandably, the player wasn't happy with the outcome ...
Very disappointing outcome last night, for the record; I did not strike the player with my hurl last Sunday nor did I attempt to strike him.
