The Carlow jersey has been given a radical overhaul ahead of the start of the new season.

The front of the new jersey, which was launched yesterday, is predominantly red, but the back still features the traditional red, yellow and green hoops. The new jersey also features a new sponsor - Tickets.ie - who replace Dan Morrissey.

The sponsorship deal will see the Tickets.ie logo displayed on the front of the jerseys worn by all Carlow teams, from the Talent Academy age groups up to the senior ranks.

Speaking at the yesterday's launch, Carlow chairman Michael Meaney said: "To have a company like Tickets.ie see the potential in Carlow GAA and wish to get involved with us is very exciting. There are plenty of opportunities for both brands to develop and grow together over the course of this arrangement and Tickets.ie are a company whose high ambitions and achievements match the aspirations we in Carlow GAA have for our county."

The new jersey will be worn for the first time when Carlow face Antrim in the opening round of the Allianz Football League in Belfast tomorrow.
