In 1998 Lester Ryan, like all GAA mad kids, practiced what it would be like to give an All-Ireland winning speech. 16-years later it became a reality.
Ryan's speech in Irish attracted much praise and the Kilkenny captain later revealed that his native language skills are not great, meaning that he sought help from a teacher freind to perfect it.
But it turns out he has been working on his Liam MacCarthy acceptance speech 'as Gaelige' for quite some time.
The video was loaded up onto Youtbe by Lester's cousin Kevin Bolger.
