Well lads. How do you think the final will go? Cant see Kilkenny being stopped but Tipp looked impressive enough today. Kilkenny for me by a single score. MayofaninKK (Mayo) - Posts: 117 - 15/08/2010 17:04:15 746479 Link 0 |

Tipp are the only team that can give Kilkenny a game of sorts and it should be a cracker but expect the Cats to draw deep for 5 in a row. Kilkenny by 4 or 5. Tipp were very rough today, they belted Mullane and any other Waterford player every time they came near the ball and played on the edge at times. I wonder will some GAA commentators give them as rough a time as they gave Tyrone/Armagh and even Meath for playing at the extremes of physicality? I won't hold my breath, the hurling boys seem a harder tougher breed who don't moan as much as some of the more traditional football counties when they are beat. Sure Kilkenny had subs on in the first half the last day and there was no stopping them. Even though they played well, I don't see Tipperary being able to stop them. Sico_Squrial (Limerick) - Posts: 39 - 15/08/2010 18:49:33 746564 Link 0 |

mooncat. Dont mention kilkenny in the same breath as the kingdom. We were winning 4 in a rows while ye were still dreaming about it. Ye got lucky last year but tipp will get revenge for that robbery in 3 weeks. mikeoc (Kerry) - Posts: 567 - 15/08/2010 19:03:16 746575 Link 0 |

Kilkenny will win pulling up even missing Shefflin, Hogan, Tennyson and now possibly the greatest hurler of all time Tommy Walsh. Different Class. Tipp have conceeded too many scores in every game this year against inferior opposition and will be punished in the final by 6 scoring forwards. Kilkenny by 6 points. kingdomfan (Kerry) - Posts: 393 - 15/08/2010 19:42:08 746615 Link 0 |

Mesamis,in the world of mikeoc no we shouldnt mention Wexford or Offaly {that might be a sore one} or Limerick,I would say Mesamis that you like me got great pleasure from watching players from all those counties and the footballers from counties that we cant mention here, booboo let me ask you a question,do you seriously think that even if football wsa strong in KK that any of the players on the present KK team would play football instead of hurling, and why didnt all the great hurlers of the great Cork team with the exception of the great JBM play football,I dont kn ow if you were around to see them play,I was and it would have been hurlings loss if they were playing football,if you are a great hurler you will play hurling, the strength of football in your county doesnt matter, this arguement about KK not cocentrating on football doesnt hold water, before I get down the banks,I should have mentioned Galway and Clare and mikeoc every county, because while they might not be winning AIs,they deserve to be mentioned and respected for waht they do for the GAA mooncat (Kilkenny) - Posts: 543 - 15/08/2010 19:46:32 746619 Link 0 |
