UEFA EURO 2012 Championship - Group B Fixtures
The draw for the EURO 2012, Group B qualifiers was made at UEFA's congress in Tel Aviv, Israel today. The Republic of Ireland will start their campaign away to Armenia on Friday, September 3rd and will host Andorra at the Aviva Stadium four days later on Tuesday, September 7th.


Commenting on the draw, Republic of Ireland manager, Giovanni Trapattoni said, "I am happy with this draw and the early fixtures represent good opportunities for us and it is always good to finish at home. On balance, these fixtures are better than those we had in the previous World Cup qualification campaign. I also think the squad will have benefitted from the significant steps forward made against top sides like Bulgaria, Montenegro, Italy, France and Brazil."

Yeah not too bad. Last two games are relatively good. A solid campaign and a decent result in Russia would set us up. Its never straightforward though!

Two double headers against Slovakia and Russia which I'd rather have avoided. Should start off with 6 points though and end with 6, I'd be fairly confident we will get second at least
