John this was recently discussed on here. But we know the Glazers have financed United to the hilt, but there is very little we can do about it. They will not sell as they are waiting for the pay to view rights to unfold and they hope all will be well as this will be worth a fortune. The money that can be made from this will dwarf the debt and they will come out of this smelling a roses. Blame Martin Edwards for me, he couldn't wait to get his greedy hands on a few quid and sold the club to who ever. We now have a dodgy American family who have little or no interest in our club as a football club. It is purely a business venture for them and they will squeeze every penny they can get out of the likes of myself and other fans. They play on your loyalty and love of the club. Thanks Pat, it was not a surprise about the steward being sacked. The club staff will have to be seen to be be supportive of the Glazers. I don't agree with it, what happened to freedom of speech and all. If people want to protest peacefully what is the problem. If your not happy at work you can air your grievances, very sad that the lad wasn't allowed to be seen to sympathise with the protest. At the end of the day the protest flag wasn't United's property anyway so how could they keep it? Mancirish (UK) - Posts: 2200 - 15/03/2010 20:54:07 589160 Link 0 |

For once I agree with Patrique. The sacking of that steward was a total disgrace. Also people being asked to remove green & gold scarves in MUTV shows etc - complete & utter nanny state politics. The Glazers have done nothing to ease fans fears and they've hiked up the prices of tickets by almost 50% in some cases. slayer (Limerick) - Posts: 6628 - 16/03/2010 08:48:12 589315 Link 0 |
