Yeah, if he didn't transfer we definitely would have won Sam.

At least the Kildare Hurling Championship can continue now that Coill Dubh's influential corner forward is free from inter-county duty.

Royal they are not considering his future until the review in 2013!! and they will never nor the club delegate push mc geeney he is here in kildare for as long as he wants it thats how it works in kildare we dont push out managers like yourselves I reckon he will stay till the end of 2013 at least.
johnny d will give it another year division 1 to look forward to probably a night out in the spring series in croker v the dubs injuries to leper, hugh lynch ,cleared up daryl flynn at 100% carrying a groin all year possibly cribben back feeley could commit and the likes of fogarty, eoin doyle have got the experience this year seanie's transfer will be old news and he can get on with what he does best the football and will be settled in by then we will be in with a good shout for leinster next year thats for sure.

He said himself that they have a choice to make lillywhite. If they want to as are or try a new manager to see if they can win something. Facts are leinster wil be more tough next year with laois and meath improving. And what happens if (which is likely) Kildare get relegated from division 1,?

They do have a choice but the fact is kildare county is not a county like galway or meath that get rid of managers in quick succesion didnt push nolan or crofton when things werent going our way we give time for consistency look how long micko was manager he even got a second go.
I really think playing in division 1 will bring kildare on a lot we will be playing against the next level up and playing the dubs in croker in the winter is something to look forward to it will give the chance for younger players to play and get experience against the top teams even if we do get relegated it will stand to us come the leinster championship depending on the draw and as we say anyone can beat anyone on a championship day I feel with laois in division 2 and their run this year they will be in with a chance for leinster along with the dubs ourselves and course meath long time till then but looking forward to the draw already.

Surely this is a matter between Cavan, Kildare and Seanie Johnson, himself? It has nothing at all to do with the rest of us.

I always feel that if a man isn't happy where he is, for whatever reason, it's counterproductive to keep him. Let him go and wish him luck.

Very disappointed. Didn't do ourselves justice. We're not as good as Cork but we're better than than that, especially the second half. Looking back now I'd have to admit we haven't really played well all year and we have taken a step back from where we were but the players will come back. Maybe the result will do us a favour, calm everyone down, get rid of all the baggage from all the close heartbraking defeats from previous years. Certainly the score put up in the second half will stop everyone whinging about the officials' mistakes in the build up to the two goals in the first which really were pretty bad. With all the endless talk of BS outside stuff (transfers, referees, stadium switches, etc.) for me it has not really been an enjoyable championship and for Earley to finish his inter-county career like that which I suspect he will is the worst of all. He deserved better.

All this needs now is for Val Andrews to get the Kildare job if McGeeney goes.

The decisions that led to the 2 goals were debatable alright. Fair play to the Cavan referee for giving the benefit of the doubt to Cork :-)
