why does he have to play senior club championship. What would the criteria be if he was moving to a club that only fielded junior team

Well what's done is done now regardless of how supporters felt on it. I hope you're right bluedub because the longer it goes without SJ getting a game the longer the hype and speculation will go on. It's been one huge distraction.

So now that SJ transfer has been sorted ( or has it. Up to 5 pm today its not included on the Transfer List on www.gaa.ie/transferarchive which has hundreds on it)

How many of those who disagreed ever said a word when Cork recruited the Kildare man who was living and working in New York. Remember the papers had full details before he ever moved residence or job.

Tony Davis certainly did not and benefited with 2 Celtic Crosses. So his opposition to the SJ move was hypocritical.

Pretty high horse your on up there. Bit too high for a dub. But yeah, Micko and the Lilywhites are great for the oul transfer bargain.

And not forgetting Larry Stanley from Kildare who won an All-Ireland with Dublin in 1923 having won one with Kildare in 1919.

Ye, but I'd imagine he was living and working in Dublin!

You tell me KELF. I don't know. Back to the original question, was he living and working in Dublin when he played with them?

They went after Declan Brown when he was living and working in Tipp and playing for the Tipp footballers , Unbelievable.

Clondalkin get over it man. Your wound up all the whole thing. Transfer granted...end of story! Kildare will get on with the football in 9 days time...time to move if your capable of doing so! Cant wait to get our journey underway. COME ON THE LILYWHITES!

As a meath man i cannot get my head around the trickery of Kildare county board in this saga. Are they that desperate
to win a leinster championship that they will stoop to these levels. To be quite honest i would rather be beaten by carlow
this saturday than have outsiders on the meath team. I know i will be attacked by certain Lilywhites fans but i imagine all
true gaels are disgusted by these developments.
What surprises me is that when his initial transfer request was submitted he could not produce any evidence of his residency
and still he gets a transfer

That last bit is incorrect. There's no way he was going to submit a transfer request without the required proof of residency.

In fairness atta I have been against this transfer from the beginning but that is simply not true. There's enough reasons to be opposed to this transfer without people making up all these rumours and broadcasting their assumptions about where he lives or how he came in contact with Kildare.

Yea we are that desperate to win a Leinster that we've resorted to bringing in outsiders. Sure we might even throw the ball into the net to try and win it.
