Indeed jimbo and that is the point Joe Brolly was making. It effectively negates the county status and means counties can now recruit anyone they want from the outside on the flimsiest of reasons. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9688 - 30/05/2012 15:20:01 1183761 Link 0 |

So according to some people it's o.k. for a manager with a grudge against a player to end that player's county career ? Am I right in that ? If so what is the player supposed to do to play at the top of his ability ? Cavan_Slasher (Cavan) - Posts: 10253 - 30/05/2012 17:28:17 1183908 Link 0 |

Lilly magic, did McStay not say that Val Andrews might be Cavan manager for the next few years, even though he is no longer with them? Just got a quick glimpse of the article. Willie Nelson (None) - Posts: 972 - 31/05/2012 08:24:11 1184158 Link 0 |

would be interesting if move goes ahead and for what ever reasons mc geeney goes during the year, new manager comes in and is a kildare man who doesnt agree with transfers, or will mc geeney bring seanie with him on his travels to next county team. Maybe he can talk to Anthony Daly when he goes back to his own County and the next Dublin Hurling manager gets rid of your multiple hurling imports. Or maybe the new manager could talk to the Parnell's management on how they worked with all their bought players. fixxer (Kildare) - Posts: 202 - 31/05/2012 12:42:44 1184367 Link 0 |

Think mcstay is a little confused royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 31/05/2012 15:29:34 1184605 Link 0 |
Dream on Mrs dunne, with injuries and defections you have no hope. I'm surprised you are not insulted by a fellow county man turning his back on his team. In Kildare we don't have that problem, in fact some others want to join us. Meath have no chance of beating anybody of consequence this year you know it I know all the Meath players know it and you can bet all the Kildare players know it. fixxer (Kildare) - Posts: 202 - 31/05/2012 15:48:23 1184630 Link 0 |
