Seanie Johnston sitting on the Kildare bench

This transfer will only add to Kildare's ever expanding head diameter readings. It will also add to the height of the plummet from the media built skyscraper that is current lilywhite expectations. Great stuff.

Without a doubt.

Sure there's not a hope that Dublin or Meath will beat us in Leinster this year now, and sure who else is there apart from Cork, Kerry, Donegal, Mayo and a few others, sure we've Seanie on board now no need to worry about playing anybody...

Despite him not being eligible of course...

if in doubt - its my understanding that he only has to play in the Kildare champoinship to play for county team

Aindreas with the greatest respect Kildare are not a very well liked team since McGeeney took over so we're used to getting a bit of stick. So I'm afraid it water off a ducks back. I don't think McGeeney or the team will be too put out about your revelation either.

Can't see another round of the championship being organised anytime soon though. Clubs won't agree to it on such short notice, especially with holidays planned and lads heading away for the summer.

Other clubs shouldn't be put out just to let Kevin's play their next championship match.

You would think johnson was messi the way some of you are going on! He's a decent enough player, no more though. Definitely wouldn't be getting into the dublin, cork or kerry teams for example.

So you agree with a transfer system? Semi pro? = the end of our games.

This was an orchestrated transfer, it is wrong, it has no morals .

Transfers like this will only take place when the player involved will slightly benefit the county he is going to A player of similar skill but not the dedication will lose out. There is no way say the brogan brothers would transfer to KIlkenny football or a Kilkenny county hurler transfer to cavan.

No problem with any country lads playing for Dublin, IF they meet the criteria, but the rules have to be the same for everyone, they have to be transparent and fair. Playing footsie with timescales is a right old Irish cop out, its either right or wrong be the application one minute old or two years.

But I've no problem with these players playing for Dublin, they live and work/study and play in Dublin, the more the merrier.

Andrieas, like anyone in Kildare will lose any sleep that a Wexford man and his couple of friends won't be supporting them. That goes for anyone else who thinks that your loss of support is a concern to anyone in Kildare. We in Kildare now know how Meath feel all the time with the lack of support and it actually feels good.

As for ther Louth man takling about Skyscrapers, sure your lot are still buried under that Meath slap down in 2010. Maybe with the whinging Dubs coming up you might want to concentrate on that instead of SJ.

Looks like Seanie has to play a game of hurling with st kevins to be eligible to play championship with Kildare this summer. Is this the biggest joke in the history of the gaa?? A Cavan man playing hurling so he can get a game with Kildare hahaha

All this hype for an Over rated player in my Opinion, Will be Interesting to see how Kildare get on this year with him in the Team. Will make the Lenister Championship worth viewing anyway
