Yellow card for a headbutt? Just about the worst decision I've ever seen. He was looking straight at it from less than a yard away, what a joke.

Garrycastle not playing like underdogs so far, good opening 10 minutes

Gotta hand it to Garrycastle, they've really taken it to Crossmaglen this first half. And Crossmaglen have responded well.

Bit of pucking & pushing & pulling going on, but beyond that, a good half of football

Was it really a headbutt or did the Cross player make the most of it?? Cross doing alot of fouling Garrycastle much the better team should be leading by 8points.

Ooooohhh, red card! Seems a little harsh, let's see how Garrycastle react to this

This decision by the GAA this year for refs to be more strict, in terms of yellows being given is ruining games, and we see it again today, two players sent off. On another note, it seems some of Cross best players seem to be having worse game possible.

Referee very fussy...non contact sport it seems...neither player should have been sent off...g'castle look better up front and physicaly stronger....don't rule out cross though...

Ref very fussy???? What about the blatant headbutt which he saw and awarded a YELLOW card?????

The cross players sure made me eat my words, great comeback and really should of won it with the chances they had at the end.

Underdog needs to win on the day. Unlikely Cross will play as bad as they did in that 1st half the next day.

an entertaining final, it must be said. I reckon Garrycastle may have lost their chance there, Crossmaglen probably won't let them get that close again

Nonetheless, good luck to both teams in the replay

Right, off to Ireland v England in the 6 nations now, enjoy the rest of St Paddy's Day everybody, and good luck with the hangovers in the morning.....

Didn't see the games as in Scotland for League Cup Final but Loughiel seem to have won well while Cross got out of jail. I don't think Cross give teams a second chance usually and many of their players appear to have had an off day. Should Garrycastle have been more in front it off in the first half while what was the score with the alleged headbutt?
