Interpro's - Will anyone go?

Washing my hair and have some paint I want to watch dry. People need to care who wins these mickey mouse affairs, and they don't!

Good point football first.Connacht rugby people in Galway make every game,no matter how trivial, out to be a big deal and fair play to them it has worked (at least to an extent).I still think that promotion of the league into a competition teams REALLY want to win is a far more achieveable goal though.

No.

I don't care who wins and therein lies the problem for most people.

That's exactly right, I like most other people have a problem that MesAmis doesn't care, an on that basis I'm sure most people want the competition scrapped and replaced with something that MesAmis does care about!

GET THE FINGER OUT GAA AND MAKE MESAMIS CARE AGAIN!!!!!!!!

What this series needs is a bit of violence. Works for the International Rules - it was the only reason some people watched it.

Gloryhunter, I like your layout......you could also add the club football semi-final which is due the same weekend.

I would like to see a Munster team with some of the O Se from Kerry, Galvin, Donaghy, Darran O Sullivan, some of the Cork lads eg Cadogen, Noel O Leary, some of the Limerick guys especially John Galvin if he is better, some of the Kilmurray I crowd from Clare, some of the Tipp U21/minor.............would be a good mix.........then matched up with the cream of Connacht, Lenister and Ulster. It really could be great........but league season will have started and what is the appeal to take part. Why not a decent cash prize for the winning team???

I thought that the 1998/1999 series were brilliant.Fiercely tough, with the odd skirmish to keep the tensions hgh,but overall just a good hard fair contest. Then the Aussies seemingly got sick of losing to our players so the series became steadily more violent after, now weve gone completely the other way,and even as a supporter of the series I would find it difficult to get interested in such a bland affair again.Maybe have it once every two years, alternating with the inter pros.Having it once every two years requires less commitment so maybe more of the Afls top players could be encouraged to take part.

For the next few months, I will be juggling my disposable income (assuming I have any) for a couple of Leinster's Rabodirect games (Ospreys, Munster), any home tie in the Heineken Cup assuming they get one

Then Wexford vs Cavan (Me vs the Better Half), Offaly vs Wexford (hopefully, live in Dublin so it's not too far away) and perhaps a spin up to Longford for that match in the Football League

In the Hurling league, Wexford v Offaly (hopefully), Wexford v Limerick (definitely) & Wexford vs Laois (again only a spin from Dublin)

Then the Rabodirect, Heineken Cup & Leagues will be over and it'll be championship time where I'll have to budget all over again

So no, I'm not going to Ballinasloe or Sligo for these inter-pro matches, I'm taking on enough as it is!!

;-)

Nah dhorse, the TV will be fine for that.

Early in 2011, I went to see Wexford play hurling & football in the league, Leinster play rugby in the Aviva & Ireland play soccer in the Aviva, all within a 3-4 week period

And once I did I pledged never to pay into a Soccer match again - it's just too boring compared to GAA & Rugby. For me anyway.
