@TheRoad

I won't debate with you - your posts are so full of bitterness, there is not a gael in Tyrone that is not proud of that team and rightly so.

Congratulations to Clonbur for their win today. And congratulations to Derrytresk for their victory over
adversity, coming to within a point of an all-ireland win, with 7 players missing. A heroic display of guts
and determination.

I have read some of the stuff of this thread and it is just spiteful, hateful bile towards Derrytresk, Tyrone, Ulster football and Northern people in general. This character TheRoad seems to be able to say anything he wants about the North and it gets posted but if you reply in defence of Derrytresk and criticise Dromid or Kerry it gets censored and not published. That is a disgrace but indicative of the way this story has been reported and carried especially by the Southern media who have an inherent bias and intense dislike of Ulster teams and 'Nordies' in general; there has been very little objectivity and fairness just a load of stereotypical rubbish. There has also been nothing said about the abuse Armagh had to take from the Kerry terraces last night; once again selective reporting.

Southern bigotry, bias, hate and spite won through in the end.

Great victory for the GAA and morality in general today with Clonbur winning. As Kevin McStay said on the sunday game tonight Derrytrisk have only themselves to blame. Its very easy to be partitionist like Ulsterman and blame it on the border.

oh dear...i can't believe that our friends from connacht are still pouring bile at derrytresk...isn't it ironic that 7 derrytresk players were sitting in the stand today and declan o'sullivan togged out for kerry tonight in spite of his assault on the derrytresk player...i think that says it all...the tyrone supporters sent out a great message today with their ovation for the derrytresk team when the news came through of their gallant defeat..another great day for tyrone football

Have to agree with the comments regarding this character The Road..as bitter and spiteful a crature as you'll encounter.
Implausibly he still posts on this feeling emboldened by Derrytresk's loss.
The brass neck has been buffed to blinding lustre so soon afetr Friday's trot that no Tyrone fan condemned Derrytresks role in the Laois melee.
Only to reveal what he really meant that Derrytresk were solely responsible for the trouble.

To add gloating to is other distasteful qualities some this individual up.

Tyronetim, I am sorry to say that TheRoad is VERY indicative of the many website posts and calls to Southern media programmes over the past few weeks. They have been very spiteful and hateful, bordering on xenophobic racist, towards Northern people in general. Last night Armagh are said to have taken some really nasty, bitter stuff from the Kerry crowd about Ulster and the North which funny enough has largely gone unreported.....what a coincidence, Ulster team on the receiving end and it gets ignored by the partitionists.

Hopefully this episode will encourage any teams thinking about using violence and intimidation as a tactic to think twice.

The gatekeeper,Im a disgrace am I,say what you like,I wont lose sleep over it,but at least i dont make up lies about other posters like you have about me.

Well done to both teams. Congratulations to Clonbur. What Derrytresk have achieved, I don't think any other club in the country could, coming within 1 point of an All-Ireland and missing 7 players (3 starters). There has been some distasteful comments on this thread which I hope puts a finish to it once and for all. This saga has done nothing but harm to the GAA.

that new footage is stupid ffs. first of all does a ref appear to tell a DT player to get up for diving? Why bring it out now anyway? Im sure dromid could bring out a similar video if they wanted. Are DT heading down the same whingy route i wonder...

all dealt with by the ref.. no sign of 15 lads leaving the stand to get involved though?? ye got what was coming to some team soon enough given whats going on. a pity for ye, but thats life. had your subs not enetered the field of play, this wouldnt have been as big an issue. blame them rather than all the media, southern bias etc. face facts for a change.

Was in Croke Park yesterday. Very enjoyable matches. If Derrytresk had scored 2nd penalty in first half it was game over 8pts up and on top. Great finish by Clonbur led by Eamonn og O'Cuiv to snatch it. Milltown-Castlemaine played lovely football and won comfortably although in McHales still tried to play good football.Met Derryresk supporters yesterday and there seemed no tensions between us and we looked forward to seeing each other in Croke Park later in the year. Too much rubbish being spouted especially on this forum. Lets get on with it and close this thread.
