Rory O'Carroll is a doubt for Dublin's Leinster SFC quarter-final against Longford.

The full back sustained two separate hamstring injuries in the latter stages of the Dubs' successful national football league defence and hopes to clear the problem up fully before returning to the competitive fold. Thus, Sunday's clash with Jack Sheedy's underdogs is likely to come too soon for him.

"Long term I want to get my hamstrings right rather than rushing back," he is quoted in The Irish Times. "It's a bit frustrating as I injured my left one against Monaghan and my right one against Cork."

The holders will also be without Ger Brennan for their provincial opener but Paul Flynn is expected to be fit.
