Kilmacud Crokes chalked up their second win in Group 4 of the Dublin SHC thanks to a dominant second half display against Parnells at Parnell Park last night.
Rocked by the concession of an early Stephen Duffy goal, the holders fought back to lead by 0-11 to 1-4 at the interval. With brothers Oisin and Barry O'Rorke scoring 0-13 between them, the Stillorgan side pulled away in the second half to win on a 0-24 to 1-6 scoreline.
In the opening Group 4 encounter at Parnell Park, Alan Moore bagged a hat-trick of goals as St. Vincent's eased to a 3-23 to 0-9 victory over Setanta. Dublin football star Diarmuid Connolly was also among the scorers for the Marino men who led by 0-14 to 0-5 at the break.
There was a much closer contest in O'Toole Park where Kerry star Darragh O'Connell was to the fore in Cuala's 0-19 to 1-10 Group 2 win over Lucan Sarsfields.
