Michael Murphy is under no illusions about the task facing Donegal in Sunday week's All-Ireland SFC semi-final against champions and red-hot favourites Dublin.

"It's a huge task, but it's one we're looking forward to," the Donegal captain is quoted in the Irish News.

"When we're favourites for games, we'll say the same thing; we don't look at bookies' odds and it's the same when you're underdogs.

"But Dublin are overwhelming favourites and rightly so especially when you see the level of performance they're able to churn out week in, week out through the National League and Leinster and now the All-Ireland series. It's been quite remarkable.

"They've had a phenomenal year, a phenomenal couple of years; they've been the top team in Ireland for the last four or five years and they're showing no signs of stopping.

"I suppose, on the other hand, we're fairly confident of the position we're in this year - coming through Ulster and also the National League, although we had a minor blip in the (Division 2) final.

"We were trying to answer questions and thankfully we've done that. Maybe the last day against Armagh it wasn't great, but we got over the line and we find ourselves 70 minutes away from a final. That's the way we're looking at it."
